A better photo for a better dance

Choose a dance and review its photo suggestions. A clear photo of one adult person usually works best. Hand and upper-body dances do not need legs or feet in the photo; full-body dances work best with the whole person visible. A less suitable photo can still be used after you confirm the actual input.

Recommended body framing

For footwork, a standing near-front photo with the head, hands, legs and shoes visible works best. Hand dances work best with the head, hands and hips visible; legs and feet are optional. Leave space around the arms and above the head. Missing parts, seated poses or limited space can affect quality, but you may acknowledge the advice and continue.

Review your photo and tips

Before submitting, check the prepared photo: it is the exact image used for generation. Visibility, pose and movement space are quality tips. You can change the photo or confirm it and continue, even if it does not meet every suggestion. Changing the photo or dance requires confirmation again. Content and permission checks still apply.

Use clear, even lighting

A sharp photo with a visible face, simple background and even lighting usually works better. Strong backlighting, deep shadows, blur and heavy filters may reduce quality. An upright near-front pose is recommended. You can still acknowledge the advice and use your current photo.

Prepare your file

Upload a JPEG, PNG or WebP image smaller than 10 MB, no larger than 8,192 pixels per side or 24 megapixels. Unreadable or unsupported files cannot be processed; export a fresh copy in a supported format and try again.

Use a photo you have permission to use

Use your own photo or a photo you are authorized to upload. Get the person’s permission before making or sharing a dance video of them. Do not use the tool to impersonate, harass or mislead someone.
